Job Description:

  • Analyze data to propose changes to procurement policies and workflows. Ensure the execution of sourcing activities, bid evaluation and selection process comply with SCBx group policy standards.
  • Collaborate with key people to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations and work closely with contract management to ensure all commercial conditions, performance and risk coverage are favorable to the company.
  • Act as a point of contact and manage a fruitful relationship with clients and suppliers.
  • Foresee alterations in the comparative supplier proposal and negotiate to secure advantageous contractual terms and project deadlines
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness, anticipate price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing
  • Finalize purchase details and process purchase orders to acquire software and services
  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships based on project requirements

Qualification:

  • BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
  • Over 10 years of experience in technology delivery, servicing, and IT consulting
  • Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager or Procurement Officer preferrable in IT industry
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
