Job Summary

The Lead Project Manager (PM) will take full responsibility for managing a project or program. They normally manage several related streams or activities to achieve a desired business result, planned profitability levels, quality standards and highest-level customer satisfaction. Project Managers are responsible for the project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization. The Lead PM will review procurement/vendor selection/ budgeting and other related activities which will drive the project to its goal.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Lead Project Manager will work alongside POs, PMs, UX, BAs, SAs, Developers, Solution architects and Testers (all members of squads) in order to manage all aspects of the projects from initiation (after approval) through to deployment & closure.
  • Plan, coordinate and direct all activities associated with creating and maintaining project plans, communication plans, risks/issues, budgets etc.
  • Leverage experience and guide team with Agile, SCRUM and Hybrid Waterfall methodologies to lead project teams on a daily basis to the successful delivery of the projects
  • Accountable for delivering ‘quality’ solutions that provide desired business benefits and/or solve business problems - ‘on-time’ & within budget
  • Work with technical teams to resolve blocking issues to deliver on requirements.
  • Provide frequent and transparent communication to the business and technical senior management, project teams and stakeholders regarding project health, issues & risks
  • Responsible for managing team dynamics, morale and motivation while building a culture where all members and points of view are respected

Background/Experiences

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in IT, Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Management Information System, or related fields
  • 10+ years proven experience in project management, IT Software delivery or IT consulting

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to lead a team and creating an inclusive and productive working environment.
  • Excellence in Analytical thinking and Problem-solving skill
  • Good Human relations, mature and good interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of Software delivery project, Project Management, Agile or SCRUM methodologies, PMP certificated is a plus.
  • Good communication and influencing skills, able to work collaboratively cross-functionally
  • Good in communication both English and Thai, Writing, Listening and Speaking
  • Vendor and Contract management
  • Self-learner and update tech trends to bring in new more effective solutions
  • Adaptable, Self-Motivation & able to work under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments
  • Background in banking/ digital platforms (is a plus).
