Job Responsibilities
- Regulatory Integration: Develop and implement strategies to align company policies with new regulations. Monitor, research, and analyze relevant laws, ensuring timely updates and communication to all departments.
- Regulatory Coordination: Liaise with relevant regulators, including ETDA, PDPC, BOT, and SEC, to secure the necessary licenses.
- Reporting: Compile the monthly compliance report, legal and compliance risk dashboard, legal opinions, documents, KRI compliance, and any other reports required by the SCBX group.
- Advisory Support: Serve as the go-to resource for legal guidance, assisting with contract reviews, regulatory interpretations, and risk assessments to support the company’s strategic objectives.
- Legal Document Preparation: Draft, review, and revise contracts and legal documents to ensure they are legally sound and align with the company’s interests.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Execute special projects as required by the SCBX Group, such as GRC, Sustainability & Climate Protection, and New Product Process (NPP).
Background/ Experiences
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Law / Business Law.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a compliance officer, compliance manager, or similar position
- Experience in IT or Banking Industry is preferable
Knowledge & Skills
- Legal Frameworks: In-depth understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards, particularly those applicable to the industry and jurisdiction.
- Risk Management: Understanding of risk assessment methodologies, particularly in the context of legal and compliance risks.
- Regulatory Bodies: Familiarity with key regulatory authorities such as ETDA, PDPC, BOT, and SEC, including processes for securing necessary licenses.
