Head of Quality Assurance is tasked with defining and promoting a quality mindset across an entire company. Head is responsible for managing all QA functions, working with cross-departmental leadership to deliver high quality products on schedule. Head of QA establish sand maintains a quality system to ensure a company’s facilities, equipment, personnel, methods, processes, and procedures conform to both internal guidelines and regulatory standards.

Job Descriptions

  • Provide strategic direction thought leadership and strategic for overall quality assurance team and define OKRs aligning to the organizational charter
  • Establishes quality and reliability standards by studying product and consumer requirements with other members of management, product team, operation, DevOps and engineers
  • Maintaining a robust corrective action process that drives substantive actions to prevent future defects; drive a quality strategy that focuses on early detection and resolution of defects, mistake proofing and elimination of handling/process escapements.
  • Supervise all project staff and resolve all conflict and assist all project team
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Driving innovation and automation into all facets of the software delivery pipeline to production

Background/ Experiences

  • Experience in creating Quality assurance strategies and scaling teams across multiple projects.
  • 10+ years of experience in quality management
  • 5+ years of people management experiences
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment, flexible and adaptable to meet the evolving needs of a high-growth, fast-paced organization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across many departments and levels and influence others.
